COVID-19 Antigen Testing (or Sofia SARS Antigen FIA) is a rapid diagnostic test for those who are suspected of COVID19. Upper respiratory specimens are collected via an oral or nasal swab. Positive results indicate the presence of viral antigens, but do not rule out bacterial infection or co-infection with other viruses. Negative results do not rule out COVID-19 and should not be used as the sole basis for treatment or patient management decisions, including infection control decisions. This testing is EUA Approved.
